Enhancements in
Internet Exchange for cc:Mail 2.11
- The maximum number of records
for Rule-Based Addressing database was extended from 16K to 2G.
- The new utility DBUPDATE.EXE
was provided to upgrade the old Rule-Based Addressing database (rulebadr.btr).
- A new option was provided to
accept Internet addresses consisting only of a local part during "Mail From:"
SMTP sessions. The option is under [Options], QualifyAddress=YES/NO. The
default value is "YES".
- A new option was added to
import "application/rtf" MIME attachments as normal cc:Mail attachments instead
of VIMSEL_RTF notepart attachments. The option is under [Options],
AttachRTFasFileAttachment=NO/YES. The default value is "NO".
- A new option was added to
filter out time/date stamp in filenames exported by ccOut. The option is under
[Options], ForceDosFileName=YES/NO. The default value is "NO".
Bugs fixed in
Internet Exchange for cc:Mail 2.11
- SMTPC caused a GPF when the
length of recipient address was longer than 128 bytes.
- Rule-based Addressing
compilation failed in configure only mode.
- Outbound PCX file attachments
caused disk over-flow problem.
- Sysman caused a GPF when a
message in the out queue was forwarded to an invalid Internet address.
- The Internet address typed in
the field of "Bounce Sender" in [Configure Options] [Advanced] was not
qualified and any value, regardless of correctness, could be entered.
- A MIME message with an
encapsulated RFC822 message containing more than 20 MIME attachments caused a problem in
VIM.
- Mail that was bounced from
Postmaster to Postmaster caused a mail loop under some conditions.
- Under the default address
mapping, when the mapped Internet address consisted of two consecutive dots (i.e.
".."), the local part of the Internet address was quoted twice.
