Internet Exchange Version 7.0 Upgrade

Internet Exchange Messaging Server 7.0
runs on both Windows and Linux operating systems. Operating system support includes Windows 98 (Anti-Virus processing
only), NT, 2000, and XP
Linux distributions supported include RedHat 6.2 - 9.0; Mandrake 8.2 - 9.1; SCO Linux Server 4.0 (United Linux 1.0);
RedFlag; and Cosix (CS&S). Additional information related to this distribution can be found in the
release notes.
In order to finish the installation process, a license certificate is needed. License certificates can be automatically generated by completing the registration procedure at the end of the IEMS installation. They can also be obtained by registering your copy of IEMS here.

LINUX
The Linux distribution is downloaded as a compressed
tar (tgz) file (25,347,723 bytes). After downloading,
create and move to an empty directory, and extract the installation
files using the following command:
tar xvzf iems-7.0-linux.tgz
The extracted README file contains additional information on how to install and license your copy of Internet Exchange. Full installation details can also be found in the Installation Guide, also part of this distribution.

WINDOWS - NEW INSTALL
The Windows distribution is bundled as a standard
zip file (29,458,873 bytes). After extracting the
installation files into an empty directory, please refer to
the README and Installation Guide for full installation details.

WINDOWS - IEMS 4 - 6 UPGRADE
If you are upgrading from an existing Version 4 or 5 install,
please download the iems-7.0-winupgrade.zip
file (29,234,282 byte). After extracting the installation
files into an empty directory, please refer to the README
and Installation Guide for full installation details.
